Resorts World Las Vegas wows with stunning dynamic digital signage and IPTV

Resorts World Las Vegas is the first integrated resort to be built on the Las Vegas Strip in over a decade and includes a 117,000 sq. ft casino and 59-story tower housing three hotel brands. It brings an elevated experience for which the Resorts World brand is known to the modern traveller seeking luxury, value, and variety.

At Resorts World Las Vegas, technology and design go hand in hand. From the outset, installing a state-of-the-art AV solution was a non-negotiable priority - one that would wow and delight audiences while providing a scalable, enterprise-level platform for content delivery and management. After a rigorous evaluation process, the Tripleplay digital signage and IPTV platform was selected for its proven track record in large-scale deployments.

Dynamic content now runs across thousands of endpoints throughout the resort, including three massive exterior LED screens dominating the West Tower, East Tower, and Zouk nightclub facades. These screens synchronize with the 50-foot globe in The District, the resort’s retail, dining, and entertainment promenade, creating a striking visual experience.

Inside the resort, more than 5,200 displays and LED screens have been installed. On the casino floor, digital signage highlights events, shows, shopping, and promotions, while an innovative “Jackpot” integration instantly triggers celebratory content whenever a win occurs. Gameplay statuses such as recent winners and “Bad Beat” results can also be broadcast across the property, adding to the excitement.

“Digital signage is probably the number one way that a property such as ours can capture guest attention and steer them to our wide range of offerings,” explained Richard Perks, Director of AV Infrastructure at Resorts World Las Vegas.

With Tripleplay’s platform, content can be switched with a single touch - spotlighting casino guests, sponsor promotions, or exclusive moments on selected displays. Events can be live-streamed across screens or used for impromptu promotions. Back-end reporting delivers proof-of-play metrics, providing sponsors with measurable ROI and unlocking new revenue streams.

“The extensive reporting benefits not only Resorts World Las Vegas but also our clients who are paying for the advertising,” Perks added. “They’re getting a clear return on investment as guests see their ads, and it drives business to them.”

Beyond entertainment, signage integrates seamlessly into food and beverage outlets. Digital menu boards connect with the EPOS system, updating pricing and availability in real time. Time triggers automatically adapt menus for different events, display alcohol sale restrictions, or show sold-out notifications.

Conference facilities also benefit from extensive signage, with 86-inch column displays in hallways and public areas showing promotional or atmospheric content. Meeting schedules appear on screens outside event rooms and on large video boards, helping delegates navigate with ease and reducing staff workload. Resort-wide, digital signage also supports wayfinding, ensuring guests can easily explore the vast property. The platform even extends to back-of-house areas. HR teams use displays to share resort updates, safety messaging, menus, and employee information - keeping staff informed and engaged while boosting loyalty and retention. At the same time, the abundance of guest-facing signage reduces the reliance on staff to provide information, freeing up resources and lowering costs.

“Our digital signage platform really helps steer our guests towards the offerings we have - whether that’s food and beverage, events, or shows,” Perks said. “To ensure we reach as many of our guests as possible, we’ve deployed the platform in almost every corner of the resort, even the elevators.”

Tripleplay’s frame synchronization technology ensures seamless content delivery across the three exterior LEDs and the globe inside The District. External displays are a focal point for the property, showcasing visually stunning content such as ocean scenes, glowing landscapes, surreal dance stages, and dazzling jungle imagery.

For live events, IPTV streams camera feeds from entertainment spaces - such as the pool area - to one or all exterior screens using Tripleplay’s low-latency encoder, delivering an almost real-time glass-to-glass experience with just 98ms of latency. The system also supports instant takeovers, allowing screens to be used for urgent alerts, quick promotions, or ad hoc messaging.

“We’ve been able to integrate our digital signage into our wider AV ecosystem, making it easy to control and manage,” Perks explained. The platform is managed through a simple, permissions-based CMS and backed by 24/7/365 support, ensuring uninterrupted service.

Perks concluded: “Our digital signage platform is an enormous messaging tool. Without it, selling and upselling our property would be much harder. Supported by a fantastic vendor partnership, this product has been stellar for us.”
